This is a basic plan to help your child/teen keep their rooms clean. Visit any-clean to compare the inner workings of it. Do not worry if the area is a tragedy. Just set the timer for 15 minutes daily and get started. Carry on cleaning litter daily before you find the surfaces of the dressers and the-floor. By the end of the week, you'll be surprised at the development! When you are ready start the program. During the first couple weeks, you may want to assist (or at the very least monitor). Start with ensuring every thing in the space features a house. Do not concern yourself with firm, just have the areas clear off. Varied baskets or containers for smaller things Labels - brands make organizing easier Each Day Make the bed - have your child try this prior to the daily activity Friday Obvious all surfaces (desks, table, nightstands, etc.) Thursday Dirt all areas - being that they are all cleared off this would be easy. Friday Clear the floor (just the visible parts for to-day) Friday Brush or vacuum Friday Pick a spot - you-or your child may choose one spot for that day. Produce a listing of all of the problem areas in-the room and gradually check them off. - Underneath the bed - Behind the cabinet - One dresser drawer - One corner - incompatibilities - _ - he succeeded - _ Wednesday Change blankets and provide all laundry to laundry room Sunday Free Day - you can even use this as a constitute day Every week, create a mental note of the items that end-up scattered about. Use containers, containers, racks or create your own solution to keep these things together. You might need to try a number of different options before you find the one that works. If something appears to be working.. leave it alone! Each day, encourage your child to execute the scheduled jobs. Give them a time limit and make use of a timer (15 minutes ought to be enough time).
